Jesse Sadlowski, Director of Technology, and Johny Mantello, IT Coordinator, from the Lethbridge School Division in Alberta visited Vretta’s Headquarters in Toronto to meet the team and get a tour of the office.

Jesse was kind enough to share the following feedback with the Vretta team during his visit.

For over the past decade, the Lethbridge School District has experienced our share of challenges with legacy assessment technology systems that have been delivered across their district to about 12,000 students in 24 schools. A little over a year ago, the Alberta Ministry of Education introduced us to Vretta’s e-assessment solution as a transition option from the legacy system.

While we approached the pilot cautiously, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience we had with the solution. The rollout of the platform across our schools has been seamless, thanks to the proactive support from both Vretta and the Alberta Education team. The guidance and support provided to our principals and teachers have been invaluable throughout the transition.

The smooth implementation of the modern and dynamic assessment solution for the Provincial Assessment Tests (PATs) has certainly exceeded our expectations. We’re currently piloting the solution for Diploma Exams and are excited about expanding its use across all our schools.
